Do you have a problem with your ignition now? Are you planning on running high boost, N2O, or very high RPM? The stock KA ignition is very good.

If you decide to get it, it's the MSD 6A or 6AL, the Blaster SS Coil, and the tach adapter (sold seperately) that you'll need.

+1 for not needing it at all. lol. Iginition is a pointless upgrade in an otherwise stock N/A car.

Although they are right, they did not answer your question. It is very possible to install it. You will need an MSD power tower, the box, a blaster SS. You do not need the 8910 Tach adaptor. Do a search, I just walked a guy through this install not two days ago. So if anyone is entitled to tell you to search, it is me. SEARCH!!!!

thanks guys. it does come with everything you need though...and the tach adapter...i know kinda how to install it...it wanna do some more to my KA...i pretty much have everything except engine work and ignition though...when my engine kicks it then i'll do internals....how much should i offer him then 150? is that to much? I have searched this topic but its always on a S13...like i said i pretty much can put in on now...i might run spray but haven't decided and i know that this would be a helpful upgrade if i go that route...

I ran a 15.2 at KCIR, but first, the track sucks. Unless of course, it has been refinished lately. Second, I will be happy to help if I end up with Wolfe this summer, we will have to get together.

i would understand it being pointless for getting a huge amount of hp #s but gas mileage?. anything upgraded for a fuel system is always great for gas mileage. better the fire, better the burn, am i right??

I was told by another guy on here that he actually lost power and mileage with the install. But yes, they claim better mileage.

That would be cool, but we will have to see where my internship takes me. If it is used and everything is included 150-200.

No, you aren't right.

Your spark can either be in two states: Existent, and non-existent. More voltage does nothing except ensure that your spark will in fact be existent.

i heard that u can't use an external coil unless you get a modilied distb. cap? is that true? How much does one run???? can't the external coil handle up to 400 horses...so whats the point in even buying a blaster 2 coil?

You can make your own with the power tower that I mentioned in another post. Also, you want to use the better coil for heat resistance (is my understanding), but in all actuallity it is just an epoxy filled coil. That would've been a big deal if we were talking about 60's small blocks, but anymore they are all epoxy filled, so you would probably be fine.
