I m completely new to the RB scene (yes, i m a 4age guy) and got some newbie question. How's the reliability of RB20det? are parts easy to come by? generally after how many miles it will need a rebuilt? how much power does it pump out in stock form?

i m planning to get this Cefiro with RB20DET swapped for dirt cheap.

chassis has around 80K and 60Kmiles on the motor

so please let me know about this deal. thanks

Try searching first...People are a bit more receptive to questions after you've demonstrated that you've at least tried to answer your own questions by using the resources here on NICO.

Depends, My rb is a daily driver and recently parked due to sponser. It never let me down even under constant raging. Mine is a 1994 gts-t type m with many upgrades and not one stock part has given me a problem. as far as part aval. some thing are near imposible but mostly the parts are easy to find and reasonable. here are some sites that will help.http://www.jarcoinc.comhttp://www.topha ... b20det.com
