Hi Guys. We were looking to buy 2014 nisaan pf and i discovered on pftalk forums that some folks who bought pf is having shuddering issue. So we decidid not to go that way. As jx35 is similar like pf but with much more premium quality and features, we thinking of getting jx35 instead. But i am trying to find out if jx35 owners experiencing shudder issue in jx35 or jx35 transmissin is different from nissan pf cvt. Your help will be appreciated and help us making a right decision. Thanks.

I've now got 1300km's on my JX and the transmission has been running great. When using the triptronic shifting it is so smooth. I took a g35 out a few years back for a test drive and the shifting was very jerky. But not the case with the JX. I would recommending the QX if you want better towing power as the jx only pulls 3500 lbs and the qx can pull 5000 lbs and has a 7 gear to it as well. You will enjoy the vehicle when you decide to buy it

5000 mi on my QX60, not sure what you mean by "shudder" on shifting? on tracking down the road? on accelerating? In either case, mine is smooth as silk

I have the 2013 JX35 and I have brought it back to the dealer a few times for the shuddering issue but so far they haven't given me an answer as to why it happens except that they think it is coming from the CVT. In fact when they gave me a loaner 2014 QX60 as I was driving off the lot I also got the shudder. Very disappointing :-( Hopefully they fix the shudder issue as its a great suv otherwise.

I got a 2013 jx35 about 1 week ago. The shuttering is out of control and very noticeable. I wish I went with a different vehicle. Hopefully they find a fix for this sooner rather than later as otherwise I LOVE this thing.

What does this shudder feel like? Is it at idle? I've got something going on where at idle the RPMs drop and it resonates through the cabin. The dealer has so far said its normal.
