I am yet to put brakes on my 06 G35 but I hope they carry the same Pads at Discount Auto! They are normaly 40-50 bux depending on the car
Do them yourself. Brakes are the easist repair on a car a man can do.
I don't change my own oil because i don't have a way to get rid of it and i also don't want the mess. but the brakes are easier than changing oil.
If you need any help feel free to ask. I would love to give you any info i got about doing brakes.

When you do your brakes on your G I'd appreciate a step by step writeup with pictures. As far as changing oil there is no mess if you are careful. I use a 3 ton hydraulic jack to lift each side of my vehicle & then place a ramp under each front wheel.I do my tire rotations at the same time so I not only save money on oil changes but tire rotations as well. I am on my second set of tires & will be rotating these every 5k miles instead of 7.5k as I did on the first set. I hope to better the 47k miles I got on my first set of Bridgestones. As far as getting rid of used motor oil, I use plastic 3qt orange juice containers( the orange juice comes from Florida) & take the used oil to Pep Boys or you can take it to any place that changes oil. I also use an old plastic shower curtain to spread out under the vehicle so any small spills wipe up easily. With 50.3k my brakes are still in good shape but I would consider doing it myself with your good instructions.
