With a 1.6 in my opinion - i would focus on the basics. I would personally go the route of a great daily driver. Suspension Upgrades, Wheels/Tires, Stereo upgrade (read your other posts about that), tint, and to take many many pictures!

That would be a great list to have if he was made of money. The fact that he has the 1.6 says he either isn't made of money or is still a high school/ college student and again isn't made of money.

Really, the best "bang for you buck" mods would be tint, drop springs, rims if you can afford it (remember, you'll probably need new tires with this too), a stereo upgrade and a few cheap interior upgrades like dome leds and the accent lighting kit from nissan.

Yeah it would be nice to pipe dream a turbo and built engine putting out 600 hp, but lets face it, less than 1% of the people on here would ever have the funds and know how to do that.

I've put together and installed a turbo kit on a 96 Eclipse RS and did the welding for the pipes and everything, but with this new of an engine and no real knowledge of the limitations of the engine its just going to be a pipe dream for a long time.

I agree with most of what other people are saying. Do the basics like tint, stereo system, wheels, and suspension. That's probably all I would do since it's just a 1.6. I don't believe there is a CAI for that motor and I think a 1.6 liter engine with an exhaust would sound like a weed eater.

Oh, and lightweight 17" wheels are the most I would put on a 1.6 Versa because otherwise, you'll slow down that little motor and hurt gas mileage and performance.

I didn't know that. Why is that the case?

Why would that void your warranty..? I mean I could understand if anything over 17 wouldn't fit but I have seen some people with 18's and 19's and I don't think they have had any problems. This is interesting..
