No change when he disconnects the coil pack. Z32 is coil-on-plug. How are you verifying that the injectors seem good? Here's an option: mark the CAS with a scribe, take it off, turn the key to run (don't crank it over), and listen to each individual injector with a mechanic's stethoscope or a long screwdriver while slowly rotating the CAS shaft. If you really want to get into it, hook up an inline fuel pressure tester, and with each injector pulse, the fuel pressure should drop. If it doesn't, you have a clogged injector.
Same thing with spark plugs. If one of your plugs isn't firing, then chances are the PTU, CAS, or wiring is shot.
You have checked codes at the ECU, yes? ECU diagnostics are there specifically for times like this. CAS and PTU don't throw a CEL, if I'm not mistaken. EDIT: just verified this. They will not throw a CEL.
