Hey guys, I'm in the market to purchase a Z. I've been comparing the Canadian vs. US Z. And after useless comparison... seems like the differences are leather interior and enthusiast model. Other than this, I dont really see much difference. However I dont know much about the Z. Can any of you gurus help me find the differences between the 2 Z's?

The reason is I live in Canada, however the used Z here is super expensive compared to the Z in the states. Therefore if there is any information you guys can tell me, that'd be great.

I looked through the FSM, generally speaking nissan makes a North American, so the canadian and US FSM will be the same...

That being said, I didnt find any differences in the service manual.....

I have gotten little so far, certainly techncially they will be the same, differences, if any, should be limited to cost of trim levels..and whatever regulations might be different.

No customs problems with importing a US car into Canada?

A canadian Z has factory installed daytime running lights a US does not. By law up there you have to have them. If you buy a US sold Z you will need to have a kit installed to meet your regulations.

Yup I'll need the DRL and maybe change the clusters to match to KM instead of Miles. Plus I'll need to add a few things here and there. There's a site Riv.com that helps me with that aspect. US has the color red and Canada doesnt right?
