Hello all, new to the forums and Nissan ownership.

About two months ago I picked up a '96 240sx SE. It's a good handling car and I like it except for the power or lack thereof. There is a couple of issues on this car that need to be fixed and one of them is the passenger power window. It does not work. I replaced the window motor thinking that was it, but no, it didn't help. I have read about a window amp on this website, where would this be located and where would I go about finding one? Junkyard special? Interestingly, when you pull up on the window button as if you were going to raise it, there is power, but none when you push on the button for it to go down. Is this a common problem? Thanks for any help.

Oh no amp, like I said I'm totally new to this. I was looking at the wrong article. Thanks for the links. I hope it is't anything too crazy. I'll give these a try. What I meant on the switch is that when you move the window switch as if to raise the window, the wiring after the switch shows power, but not when you lower it, but the window does not move in either direction. Thanks again
