newbie need audio system help.

Im going to upgrade my sound system in like a week or so, just wants to make sure im geting the correct stuff and got a few newbie so please double check for me. Im geting1. one deck with 3 rca inputs.2. one 10inch sub, with close sealed box.I alrdy have 4x 100watt max 25watt rms speakers. I want to just get a 5ch amp, but can the cross over be adjusted so the amp gets 80< and the 4 speakers gets 80>? If not, i guess i have to get 2amps huh?

more questions. THE deck runs wires to the amps, and the amps runs wires to the speaker and subs correct? Is there a guide in installing amp, subs. for 1992 240sx?

alright, thanks. I have a stock alternator, how much watt can it handle before things will go wrong?

I'm not sure. I'd say if you go over ~500w RMS you should at least get a capacitor. I'm talking true power, not flea market brand power ratings.

I personally would recommend an alternator upgrade just because it'll keep the voltage supplied to the amp(s) as close to maximum as possible
