newbie looking to get a 240

Hey all, I'm looking into purchasing a 91 240sx se, i haven't gotten to look at the engine or talk to the seller but it has 152xxx mi. on it and looks to be in decent shape body-wise. i don't know about any of the quirks of these cars so i was just wondering what i should ask about when i do get to talk to the seller and what i should look for on the car, by the way it is $1000 OBO and a manual.i currently own a maxima and would like to bring another nissan into the family.thanks.

Good price on a 240SX. First thing that comes to mind is the front main seal likes to leak. Got that problem on mine now. Also the timing chain rattle, listen for that. That's a big one.

Other than the things listed in the first link, your typical used car stuff should be checked like any fluid leaks, compression test, etc. Good luck with finding a car.
