they don't use a maf, they use a AFM, and you can pop the top off of it and adjust it a bit, but if it's super rich, to the ppint of flooding, it's likely the chts, a bad O2 sensor will cause a mildly rich condition, and a bad cat makes a rich condition seem much worse than it is, if all else is good then try adjusting the maf, I always adjust for the best throttle responcecraiglew wrote:Anyone able to give me a fwrd to basic maint info on this motor? ie: sprk gap, oil weight so on-fuel pump make it run rich?- if there are issues with the maf on these motors?..... I just cant get over how rich it is running-I havnt heard anything of a fuel pressure regulator..... does it have one?

yeah, on the n/a it;s int he lower thermostat housing, just be sure ytou don't get the "sender" the "sensor" should have 2 contacts and the plug should look like an injector plugcraiglew wrote:Ive ordered to coolant temp sensor..... or so they say at the parts counter I hope this is the same as the chts?
will be here in the morning
Your info confirms my fears, I need the thermotime sensor now" I snapped it very easily, and may need the temp sensor still.evildky wrote:yeah, on the n/a it;s int he lower thermostat housing, just be sure ytou don't get the "sender" the "sensor" should have 2 contacts and the plug should look like an injector plug
This is what I broke? 2wires and larger than the other 2 sensorsevildky wrote:the thermotime sensor is one of the one wire sensors, it just tells the electric injector fan when to come on
