Currently drive a 2000 prelude and I am looking into gettting a 240 when my car is payed off, so around 2 years. I just thought I would start doing some research now that way when it come time to get rid of the prelude I will have a good place to start on the 240.

I want to finish my plans for the lude and then eventually get a 240 as either a project car or as my daily driver.

at least you've got the right idea - research. It'll really come in handy when buying your car in the future. I impressed the guy I bought my 240 from with my knowledge of it, and in return he was super nice and got all the DMV crap done for me so I didn't have to :D

what do you mean so quickly. This isn't gonna be for a couple more years. And I've driven RWD before, so I don't see it really being a problem.

Do what I did, get both at the same time :) I've never driven a RWD car before, but I am quite used to my AWD. It makes enough power to bring the rear end around when I want it to, so I am sure I can get used to RWD too.

well welcome to NICO, i hope yall find everyone here very informative and friendly, and also, as already stated, good idea doing research early, only helps you in the end, and also, NICE lude, its the only honda ive ever really liked, ive always had somewhat of a soft spot of the ITR, but i like the lude much more than most hondas (excluding s2k and nsx of course) and also, i see your lil list of mods, quite nice, clean car, have u ever taken her to the track??

Welcome to the Family....

Don't worry about it... I went from a FWD to a RWD in a day... on top of that from an Auto to a Manual...

to make things worse... I learned how to drive manual in my 240...so yes... it CAN be done.. I burnt the clutch in like 2 months after I got it... and no one taught me how to drive a manual.. i basically taught myself in my 240.. I drove the sucker home from the dealer lot by myself... on the freeways and stuff... it's not that big of a deal... you learn after you make a few mistakes

luckily i didn't get ina crash or anything but spun myc ar out a coupleof times... but that taught me how much my car can handle... so more power to you...

the only thing is try to get rid of your car now and get a 240.. don't wait.. the more you wait the older the 240's get since they don't make them anymore...get it?

Thanks for the comments on the lude. Anyway j92s, nice to see a fellow luder. As for the comment about selling the prelude right now, I know that 240's are harder to come by, but I just don't want to get rid of the lude yet. It's not finished.....yet. I'm sure I'll still be able to find a 240 within 2 years, right?
