Hi everyone, I just found this forum. Hoping to find good info and great people here.
I just purchased a 2004 Maxima SL last week. I really like it so far but of course need to do a few things.
I've found some info on cold air induction and how to fix drivers window. (google)
The window motor/regulator doesn't look to hard...just time consuming.
Maybe a suggestion on what type/brand best for both.

Welcome!

You will find some people have mixed opinions on CAI (Cold Air Intakes).

The regulator motor can be tricky, but isn't hard if you've got some mechanical aptitude.

As for suggestions, I'd ask again in the Maxima forum.

Welcome. Ah, the joy of Nissan window mechanisms. They make my RX7's window mechanisms look effective.

Hi Newbie, I just replaced the driver side front power window motor and control.
I found the old posts on this site and UTube videos regarding the same exceptional. Unless you have trim removal tools you will need a flat edge screw driver, soft cloth, Philips head screw driver and a 10m socket. The utube shows how to safely remove the door trim and panel. Once inside the panel the job moves fast. Let me know if you find the UTube the one I looked at was for a Maxima. It's not to difficult but there are many delicate or fragile parts. Glass and plastic
