hey guys i m new here and just bought a 1992 240sx se it got 191,xxx ,when i got it the check engine light was on and a mechanic said it wont pass smog , i worked on it did a minor tune up and now i drove it around the light just turned off . my question is is it possible that the only problem is foul plugs???? should i try to pretest it again????thanks

simple tune ups help man..allso..if ya dint know..your O2 sensor needs to be changed at a regular intervals of 30,000k miles..most never even bother..hope this tidbit of info gets ya going in the rite direction.

With that many miles you may have a list of things to do to pass smog. Most vehicles will have egr problems and bad catalytic converters also.
