whats up peoples, i just recently bought 92 240sx with 215,000 miles on it.for the price i paid for you cant beat it. the thing is that, the car tend to smoke every once in awhile not often. the car runs real good. any suggestion on why it smokes? and any suggestion on gettin tools i plan on working on it my self. i plan on growing with my car. i want to do the sr swap, sus, the whole nine. i just dont want to go buy a whole tool set cause im not going to using everything thats there especially the standerd tools. but any sugestion would be gladley appreciated.

buy Matco tools. Silver Eagle is a good line. (or Harbor Freight if you're a cheap ***)... just get the tools you would need.

you've possibly gotten excess oil (cause there's always a bit) in your combustion chamber(s)... the rings are most likely worn to **** (200k+ miles => REBUILD!)

but if you're gonna do the sr swap soon... then there would be no point in rebuilding your current engine unless if you're gonna sell it to someone.

appreciate the reply! Damn rebuild, you right tho 200plus miles. I didn't think of it that way. I gotta work with what I got for right now, I can't afford the swap right now. I'm thinking of craftsmen good budget tools. But a rebuild I dont think I'm ready for that yet.
