Just joined the forum so I could get info( which it looks like I will be able to find ) on how to slap a KA in the 68 roadster I just got. Yep, one of those old turds. Nice site since I already have a hybrid 280z, frontier, and a g35. Looking forward to the chat and the smack.Rob P of the CZOTATX

O.K. you got me. This will be the Gster's car. Thanks for the parts help with the bus. Funny, I think I found the problem and she 's shifting just fine now. I want the parts anyway so I can have those on hand. The garage findee project is going slow. I will hopefully locate as soon as possible.Rob

I have not put the engine in at this time. I decided to go rent a storage garage because the z demon needed a build site as well. It worked out for both of us. I am going to put a KA in that I got out of a 240sx convertible. It was rebuilt and with less than 8000 miles on it the owners daughter blew the head gasket. It should be easy to fix. My main cocern is getting the cross member to work which I hope it is like the 510. I will post pics soon and thanks for the warm welcome.Rob

Oh, I forgot to tell you that I lost the clutch again. I really do not care to swap and find so I am going to replace both the slave and the master. I think the heat coming off the T 4 finally baked it so I am now going to brainstorm some heat shielding or duct work.

How does the fluid look? still a clear-ish amber or is it a darker black-ish brown-ish color?

Brownish so I bled and got back to clear. Z Mikey thinks something is sweating due to the appearance of bubbles after a drive.

It actually has a couple small spots on it but other than that it is really clean. I need to get rid of the pep boy specials rims and put on ther zx rims I got. Hopefully that will clean her up. Main thing now is strip and motor build.
