Read. Don't ever post again until you read. Wait, let me type you out everything I know about car parts and everything so you can build your own car. Sorry, you're a dumb kid. You are no "240SX racer for life" or anything of the sort. Go away, crank yourself in the head with a baseball bat, then read everything you can find on the board three times, then ask a specific question.
Well, http://www.howstuffworks.com is a good place to start. That should give you a basic idea of how a engines, brakes, differentials, etc. work.
Lots of cool stuff with diagrams and animations. A Chilton or Haynes guide for your car would probably be helpful to start out with too, and they aren't very expensive. They aren't as detailed as a full-blown Factory Service Manual, but it would help you learn about your car.
