newbie here please help! too many problems with 95 maxima

hey guys i really need help with my 95 maxima. as of right now i dont have much money to spend on it. it seems like every couple weeks theres something wrong with the car. it has 160k and i put new brakes in it already change the oil on time and lately its been leaking radiator fluid. i took it to this one mechanic and he says it needs a new water pump which costs 700 bux. just the other day he said it seems like one of the spark plugs is misfiring and hes goin to have to change all 6 plugs whichll cost 150 with labor. and he said if the car is still doin the same thing(which is the gas pedal vibrates like hell when u step on it and it jerks when in idle) he might have to fix a coil or somethin. u think hes pullin my leg? please help! thanks

if you want to save do what you can yourself. like the spark plugs for example.
