I just bought a 93 j30t. It has a 153,000 miles, she runs good! A couple of questions tho... #1 the hicas light stays on when i drive. I checked the power steering level n its good. #2 She accelerates real slow. I still have my old car which is a 94 mazda929 n i know its slow bt it pulls of way harder than the T. N sometimes when i first start get in and drive it hesitates going into second. N my airgbag light blinkes. N my horn dont work when i press it bt it goes when the factory alarm goes off. If any 1 can help please do I will appreciate it thanx!

hey, let me be the first to welcolm u. like u, i have also newly aquired a j30t. rides nice doesnt and the power is just lovely. i dont know anything about the HICAS but sometimes my j30t runs rough and they told me to clean the MAS.
but i think there is another post on here that better descirbes what you are experiencing, unfortunately i am not sure which one it is.

For your HICAS light pull the code from the ECU and report what it says. There is a "sticky" for obtaining codes based on whatever year your J falls in in this forum.
The J needs to be warmed up before it starts running well, its not a start and drive car. Hesitation between gears is normal when starting out from a cold start.
Airbag light-if its blinking while your driving, pull the code from the ECU. It will narrow down causes.
