sup guys? i currently own a 3 series BMW but looking to trade it in for a G35 coupe. i saw one over the weekend at a used car sale. it was a 2004, black exterior and black interior with 28,000 miles and selling for $24,775. it's an automatic, i don't know how to drive stick shift so please don't burn me up for looking at an automatic. the moment i saw it i wanted to get it. but i thought about it and wanted to do some research and get info first. since seeing it i haven't been able to get it out of my mind.

any other 2004 owners out there? any problems or issues with your car? how is it holding up? would you guys reccommend it? how is the maintanance on the car?

my BMW is a 2000 model and still looks good but it's value is going down since it is 7 years old now. i wanna try and get as much out of it before it's not worth trading in. thanks for any input and suggestions out there.

i've only been looking through this forum for 30 minutes and after seeing some of your rides i am completely drooling.

-03-04 has a brake dust issue-fixed in 05-03 (04?) tire feathering problem-fixed in 04/05.-Stereo is a bit outdated with cassette-upgraded in 05.-Hp was upped due to a revised intake system. Not sure if this was 04 or 05.-premium package increased rim size to 19s in 05.-Seat belt fixed (annoying placement) fixed in 06.

Personally, the 05 was a better choice. The trick was to find a good deal...with the 08 right around the corner, you may want to wait. Even if you don't get a new coupe, the revised new model will probably drop the prices of earlier models.
