Newbie Help with his new 1993 240sx

Hello Everybody

I just bought my 240 and it has some problems and I was hoping if you guys could help me with them here they go

My Transmission is not shifting well is AT I have to sometimes rev over 3k to make it shift

My Right headlight is not going down I found the cable that connects the motor but if I connect it the light shuts down and then i dont have no more Hi beams and also the Hi beam light doesnt turn on when i use them

how can i reconnect my cruise control? is not working

and last but not least I have a fuse for daylight driving lights how can i activate them ??

do u ahve the daytime running lights? i thought that was only in canada...the headlight thing was kinda hard to understand...

Hey, I used to have a '93. Your post was little bit confusing bit i did understand parts of it. First off witht he transmission. I had the saem problem, just check the transmission fluid, maybe replace it, or refill it. Mine used to slip and over ev, but then it ran fine so check that. Secondarily, this may sound kind of simple, but if your headlights are going off when u connect the cable make sure that the motor is fully extended upward, like so that the light is at its highgest height, otherwise the light will not come on. To adjust this manually, you can remove the plastic cover off of the top of the motor, and turn the little brown knob, you should see the headlight move up and down.

As for my daylight driving lights how can I put them to work?

And my Cruise?

Yeah, my cruise control never worked either but i never bothered fixing it becuase i was planning on a 5-speed swap, I recomend that over getting cruise control, Auto's suck.
