Okay I just purchased my first 300zx 2+2. It is being shipped as we speak. I have no mechanic background. I have a exhaust that needs to be replaced, problem is i don't understand where it needs to be replaced. I would like to get the right part ordered and have the exhaust and car show up at the same time.

Here is a picture of the problem:

And a third:

Okay I am looking to purchase a catback system something like this:

Based on the pictures, do i only need to purchase a catback system?Any personal preferences for my 2+2?

Secondary Question:Based on the picture below, do I have projector or reflector headlights?

Welcome to NICO!

Your leak in your exhaust system is where the catback exhaust bolts up the to cats so you should be fine with a new exhaust and new gaskets.

I would stay away from the Monza exhaust you have pictured, the quality isn't that good. Shop around for something better. If you're looking for something with stockish appearance like that, check into HKS sport, B&B, or BRM

All Z32 (90-96 300zx's) has projector headlights.

All in all your car look quite clean. Congrats on the purchase!

Also, your signature is too large. Please bring it within the 600x200 limits Thanks!

A cat-back exhaust should fix the problem, and make sure you get a cat-back that fits the 2+2, most exhausts out there only fit the 2+0.

And yes, all Z32's have the projector headlights.

You are very welcome!

Good choice on the exhaust. Greddy makes quality product.

Nice choice on the exhaust. The EVO II is sweet also but its a tad more expensive.
