Hey everyone, I am fairly new to nissans, but I have a friend that just did the sr20 swap into his 240 and it is sweet. I plan on doing one once this semester at school ends, so I have plenty of time to save up some money and do everything right. What I need everyone's help on is what setup to do. I have been doing a lot of research lately, and I keep finding mixed info from different websites. What I am looking for is 300-320rwhp(Enough to hang with a c5). I have seen many people on this site that claim to have that, and I was just wondering what setups they had. Also, anyone that has any suggestions, that would be great. I'm sorry if there is another section soley for this but I didnt see one.-Josh

Well what year car do you have and what type of motor will you be getting? S13 or S14?Either way 320 horse is fairly acheivable with bolt ons such as a full 3" exhaust, 256 cams or something, underdrive pulley, boost controller, FMIC, intake manifold, Z32 MAFS and fuelpump/filter, some sort of computer (standalone, rom tune, emanage, whatever), basic stuff like that. If you have the S13 motor I'd suggest an T28 turbo running at like 18 psi or something. Also if you're just looking for a fast 1/4 mile look into weight reduction options and traction (tires, LSD, suspension). Also a strong clutch would help. Hope that helps

Thanks for the help s14Life. That does help. I will have a 91, or 92 240 and I plan on getting the s13 blacktop. I hope to only spend about 4000-4500 on the motor. Do you still think that that is possible, the hp I was talking about. Also, do you think 300 to the ground will hang with a c5? Thanks again.Joshua
