Hi! Just got a 1983 Datsun pickup 4x4 for free. It's a my very first truck and I've been waiting a long time. It has a 106,000, a new bed, and a cap. Starts up fine,manual 5 speed shifts fine. Inspection was good til Feb 2016 so I know it's been running recently. Here's my questions... I see 720 and 620 forums- how do I know which one it is? Also, I know I have to fix an exhaust leak, the emergency brake cable, and replace the floor pans, for starters. Anyone know where I can find aftermarket floor pans for this? Been searching online and coming up with nothing. Will I have to just weld in sheet metal? I'm planning on doing these 3 things then getting on the road to see what falls off lol. Thanks in advance! Also willing to hear any other suggestions from all you experienced owners!

Yes you will need to weld in sheet metal.
You will need to figure out which e-brake cable is bad, there are 3 of them.
