newbie 1981 datsun 720 extended cab rain leaks into cabin

i was wondering how hard is to remove the dashboard because i think where the rain is leaking into the cabin?
also a good source to find cheap parts (not cheap made)
in a future i wan to change the automatic transmission for a manual one but wondering what transmission would fit with any mods? 5 speed if possible

I don't know about the dash, but I've had good luck getting parts for good prices from rockauto.com
