Hi there fellow convertible owners! I wanted to introduce myself since I just bought my '94 last week. This is my second s13, as my last was an '89 coupe. I'm excited to be the owner of a 1 in 1391 car and hope to preserve it for a long time to come. Everything is stock so far and if any mods are in my future, I plan on keeping all stock components for the long term future. Here's some pics...

Welcome, looks exactly how mine did about 11 months ago. Except you have a light colored pinstripe, wonder if someone redone that (or painted the car and put a different one on)?

mileage:89,000future mods: new top, intake, exhaust, dunnoregistered: already did!

I would love to know how many of these 94's still exist and how many were originally made in red.As for the pinstripe, it looks all original. The protective plastic is still across the front end and the A-pillars and above the windshield. It looks like the pinstripe is over that plastic on the fenders.

Welcome and great car! The 94's were actually leftover 93's.

Go to the FAQ (zerothread/199318) for numbers of colors in a given year.

Cold Air intake then a new exhaust from AZHitman (BRM) is required of all new members.

For 1994:331 red with federal emissions. (color code AG2)61 red with california emissions. (color code AG2)

So 392 in '94 in red. But remember the '94s are really '93s.

And what is this plastic you speak of?

Yeah, the 5-speeds are better. My old '89 coupe was manual with HUD.

I was thinking about checking those out. As for wrench work, I can do some stuff, but always willing. I just got done rebuilding a '69 Buick Skylark convertible (with much help).

Hit me up brother! I'm in the same boat as you are with the 5speed thing, do I go SR or stick with dual ? Hmmm.... Hey do know of a place were they do decent body work and paint? Hell body work is what I'm looking for, little dents and some rear valences. I might go with Macco with the paint job. If you know any body let me know brother.

I'm here in San Diego as well. I know a guy who does great body/paint work for an extremely reasonable price. If you'd like, let me know and I'll dig up his card and shoot you the info.

His name's Alan James and his number is (619)667-0164. Give me Monday to reach him, find out what's up and let him know to be expecting your call. I've seen this guy's work and it's top notch and when it comes to his prices he can't be beat. Forget Maaco (they're last resort imho).

For all of you in the San Diego area, would you be down with the idea of actually getting together, doing a little cruise, shoot the **** about our cars. Maybe we could even invite those guys with stationary roofs.
