Bienvenido a Nico. Don't cut the springs, that is stupid and dangerous. Trust me mi amigo, cutting your springs will blow your shocks and the springs could get out of the base and damage the suspension. Just wait and save to buy some coilovers.

BTW: Nice and clean S13. It looks like it went to a nice home

You could heat the spring up instead of cutting it. LOL. It will shrink and lose part of its "bouncyness"

still a bad idea though.

Ahhhhh, just cut like 6 coils off. NOOOOOOOOO. Dont do either. leave them alone or just buy some cheap ebay springs to lower it until you can afoord coilovers.

paint came out nice, I rolled around 4x4 for 2 months till i could buy some brand new legit coilovers, so patience on low budgets can lead you to nice parts, welcome to nico.

Welcome to Nico!

I wouldn't recommend cutting your springs either. I have family in Tijuana and Ensenada and I know the streets are really not that good.

What part of Tijuana do you stay?
