altho im listing only the parts that i think will get this thing running, my goal is 350dd/road coarse hp, WITHOUT HAVING TO BE REDUNDANT with the whole upgrading parts to support that need, anyway, let me know if im missing anything that will make turning that key a nightmare, or if you have any part suggestions

i noticed my clutch was wack so first off,

NISMO SLAVE CLYLINDER

NISMO SS CLUTCH LINE- any alternatives?

REDTOP MOTOR/TRANS/ECU/UNCUT HARNESS SET- 175psi i hope? prolly lucky to get a 155

IGNITER- 95 q45?

SPARK PLUGS- BKR6EIX heat range 6 for now rite?

OEM OIL PUMP KIT- any seals that i need to order also?

OEM WATER PUMP-

STANCE WP PULLEY- i like to revmatch

GRIFFIN RADIATOR- custom mounts, any1 running a griffin? i see all koyos

HEATER HOSES-

BELT SET-

AVID RACING MM/TRANS MOUNTS- could i hold off on these?

GREDDY OIL PAN/FILTER RELOCATION KIT-

APEXI GT SPEC DP-

APEXI NOIR EXHAUST-anyone runnin this? is it actually quiet?

ISIS INTERCOOLER WITH ALL PIPING- i chose this cuz its cheap, but will i end up buying 2 intercoolers when i reach my hp goal?

BATT RELO KIT-

TIAL ALPHA Q(nice name) BOV(bong)- will i have fitment issues with this? i will need to use a weak spring for low boost right?

JWT Z33 CLUTCH/FLYWHEEL COMBO- anyone else but codyace do this? does it really work?(codyace-do i use the JWT pressure plate? or source an sr pplate)zeropost?cmd=newtopic&id=17#

is there anything i could cut from that list to make this happen sooner? or will it contradict my do it once do it right mentality

thanks

350? you'll never hit that with stock redtop. Gotta look further than the flashy crap you see on enjuku. with everything you listed you'll be lucky if you can handle 225-250

future mods to reach 350dd

740 injectors

FPR- should i get nismo, or aeromotive?...nismo is easy to install i hear, but the aeromotive has mktachibana's flashy flashy points...i like flashy

speaking of flashy...enthalpy tune

z32 maf/hks inbtake combo

264 cams- undecided thinkin HKS or toda

valve hardware- hks step 2

hks cam gears

greddy RAS- i rev alot

coated manifolds

Disco potato- im going to road race it so i like instant torque

oil cooler-suggestions?

rad cooling plate

turbo timer

s15 rear end with HLSD- again, racing, i need a whole new pumpkin cuz previous owner thot he was taniguchi or something and i get grilled when i take a corner not slideways due to a tire chirpy welded rear

i really could go on forever with suspension, but im just l0oking to be on track for that hp number, but will get that car running....

i already found something i missed RADIATOR HOSES....cmon guys...better input...anyone running z33 clutch...alpha q bovanything im missing to get this car started on my first list

sorry kinda glazed over that part. If just trying to make a turn key the only thing that will cause a problem is your injector upgrade. 740? your going to have to do a lot of tuning also you'll probably need a z32 maf to support it if you put them in right away and some a lot of tuning. I would just suggest stickin with stock until you got enough money do a full swap of intake system.

o sorry i missed your second list of mods. so scratch that only thing missing is your missing headgasket. I'm hoping your also doing preventative maintenance as well like freeze plugs, water pump, thicker exhaust gasket, new head studs, realizing you need to reshim. If your not wanting to be redundent i would just get a new timing chain since you'll aleady be half way their, also dont know what hks valve system is if your just talking the valves your gonna need to add in solid lifters if it doesnt include. And you seem to like hks but i would much rather put tomie and jim wolf in my head. personally tomie

cool thanx for the input...

hmmm, i was thinkin of puttin off the headgasket and studs till i get the money to throw into the headwork...but freezeouts, timing chain, exhaust gasket and intake gasket sound good....

your going to have to do headstuds i would never put old ones back in and if your doing springs you'll have to take head off. When you torque the studs they stretch and thin out. If you reuse studs they can snap. keep it oem studs if you order from thenismoshop they sell pretty cheep just takes a little while for shipping from them.

oh, i will do the headstuds for sure, i dont plan on taking the head down just yet...im hoping i get a good engine...im just hoping to DD the thing once its swapped, until i have enuff money to blow on the headwork...i dont want to get too far ahead of myself...step by step...

i plan on doing the headwork when i upgrade the turbo and injectors and tune....until then i hope the only thing i open that hood up for is oil changes

what kind of intercooler are you running may i ask...

im running a greddy. but you cant really go wrong with a hks, greddy, or blitz. There all kinda middle end and will easily support future mods unless you go nuts. Also curious is the engine already swapped into car or are you putting it in FOB? Another thing to look into before doing oem water pump is look at a s14 oem water pump. Heard they are better for like a couple more bucks, worth searching around. As for your clutch questions i have no clue. Never heard of it myself. Good luck.

no, im just shopping for what i need for a good swap...i need all the basic swap parts so when i do get the motor, i could put it in, and if theres any problems, i can return it within the 30day period...rather, than have a motor sit around while i save money for parts...

s14 waterpump? cool ill look into that...at one point i had an electric WP on my list, but that got too expensive...for now, im trying to keep swap cost at a minimum until im sure i got a good engine to spend on...

this clutch question is really whats keeping me from spending, i really like the idea of a non puck disk thats strong enough for 400+hp, and thats one of the major components of the swap b/c the trans is already out of the car...
