eibach pro-kit..... http://www.stillen.com

DDM HIDs..... http://www.ddmtuning.com

as for the color, I personally like thee look of 6k...diamond white with a slight tint of blue and most output.

8k looks good too, my gf has 8k and they look really nice and blue without losing very much output.

anything over 8k is gonna look really blue and eventually purple with a lot less light output.

no. depend what you want. adjustable or non on your drop. some love coilevers over springs, some hate it. all preferences.

you can get both and try them out to see which suits your driving more

Well eibachs are awesome and they are cheap too, but those are just one size, the drop they bring and thats it

with coilovers you can adjust the height lower or higher and they are pricy but worth it

and my HIDS are 8K with fogs and headlights Xentec for 80$ a kit you cant beat that

I think you saw mine, werent you at the meet? at the falls?

I have the DDM 6k bulbs and they are really good with lifetime warranty.

For lowering your car you have two options:

Eibach - one time drop and it allows you to keep the stock shock but it will wear it down quicker. You get a bit more of a stiffer ride and better handling but you will still have a gap between tire and fender.

BC Racing/D2/Ksport/tein SS (not out yet) coilover - These will allow you to adjust the height and damper except for the ksport (which i would avoid). It will allow you to go much lower than the Eibach and if you need to raise it a bit up you can also because they are adjustable.

With these you will also be able to adjust the damping force. You can have a nice softer ride for comfort or make it a stiffer ride to have handling and more control.

I have the BC racing coilover and I love it because I want no gap at all and a stiffer ride. So it all depend what you want.

Eibach are around 200-300 I think and Coilover will range you from 800-1200

The stock shocks would wear down with the Eibach Spring.

I would go whatever you think is best. I wouldn't get springs if you prefer coilover because that is just wasting money.

I waited for coilover to come out before lowering my car so it is mainly up to what you prefer. If you want a one time drop and you know you wont be adjusting anything and you like how the drop is for the Eibach you can go with that and same tons of money or spend the extra money on coilover if you want to go much lower and have a stiffer ride.

wow they made springs for the gen. coupe quick lol

also I thought the eibachs didn't drop enough to wear out the stock struts

It will wear out the strut just not quickly but it will wear it out faster than the OEM spring rate.

The drop and change in spring rate will not meet the stock spec struts so it will wear down quicker but it wont wear it down as much if Tein release springs for these car or JIC etc...

I was tired when I type that....so I'll explain.

The stock springs are rated to match what the stock shocks can handle and vice versa.

Basically....

The stock shock spectification is set to handle the OEM springs and not the Eibach spring rate. So with the new spring rate of the Eibach and it being lower the shocks will wear down faster or even blow on you without you even knowing it.

I hope that make sense lol.

If you go with springs you will need better shocks.

KYB, Koni, Tokico or any of those brand will do. From there it depends if you want a stiffer ride or softer ride since each of those brand give different output.

I would go with either KYB or Koni (whichever is out for the car that is)

Though it seems like you've already decided to go this route, Aubrey, I would recommend that, if you're not going to take your car to the track, you don't need to drop a grand on coilovers. If you just want your car lowered, spend a couple hundred dollars on new springs. They'll wear out your stock shocks faster, but when those go, spend another couple hundred on performance shocks. Or, if you're so inclined, do both at the same time.

In the end, you'll end up paying less and you won't notice anything different. In today's economy, I wouldn't want anyone spending more money than they really needed to in order to get what they wanted.

Well, if you want no space between the tire and the fender you will have to go with coilovers.

I have coilover and I have no gap at all. The only way you will not have the gap with the Eibach is to get bigger wheels and bigger tire side wall to cover the extra space.

You can check out the picture there of people with the BCR coilover. Also a lot of member have the Eibach in several other topic if you want a comparison.
