i had sr20det swap done and they put s15 disco potato(gt28) but how can i tell if it's disco potato or not......

Well one, the S15 T28 and Garrett GT28R "disco potato" are two different turbos. The S15 turbo has bolt holes for attaching elbows off of the compressor housing, the GT28R doesnt.
