I did a search but couldn't find the answer.

I bought a 07 m35x with navi and all but it doesnt seem to have a sat button on the radio?

My question is can i still add satellite or no? Also wanted to know if I wanted to hook up my ipod how this could be done. They make an adapter for infiniti but it must be satellite radio ready.

Am I ou tof luck?

Thanks

Satellite radio is pretty much obsolete.

If you want an ipod hookup, you can get an iTrip or any other plug-in radio transmitter for 10-50$ at Wal-mart.

Higher-end ones not only play your music, they also charge your device.

This is advice is as good as a nissan sentra is a good car...

I dont think you can get an M with the Nav in 07 and NOT have Sat radio. There is no SAT button anyway. Hit the voice button command button on the steering wheel and say, "Tune channel one" and see what happens. Im going to bet you have it.

As for IPod, if you look at the back your center console, from the back seat, open the compartments there and see if there are A/V inputs. If so, you can buy a simple cable to go from your headphone-out on your IPod to the input there. Once connected, you press the Source button on the steering wheel until you get to AUX on the display. The sound from those inputs plays through the cars stereo.

Thanks so much for the useful info. Unfortunately I just looked at the back of the center console and all there is is a little door that opens to a ashtray type a thing. ugh I can't believe I have nav and rear view camera but no rear dvd or an aux in.

I will try the satellite thing next but Im almost positive I dont have it as I have toggled thru the bands and it goes from am to fm but no xm or sirius. Very disappointing.

Pressing radio, switches between am, fm then Sat radio...I believe the user manual has a better explanation on how that works exactly; I dont bother using anything other than sat radio, so I have not changed to AM/FM since 2006!

If you dont have sat radio service, the display will be there telling you to call the sat radio company, and I think the weather channel works to test with...
