Im sure that this has been asked a million times, and I searched the posts and didn't find it. Does the SR20DET directly bolt into a 89 240sx. Are there any modifications needed, driveshaft or engine mounts? What do I need extra? I know that I will need a new power steering pump(where can I get one?). Thanks for any help. Sorry for my newbness.:(

Bolts in, only wiring concerns that are easily solved. If you want to keep AC then that takes a bit more work. Get PS from a 1991-1994 240SX or off of the SR20DET (depending on how complete your SR is). Also need to replace the 1989 240SX SOHC tachometer with a DOHC tachometer. You can grab the tach off a 1991-1994 240SX except the redline will be a little short, or you can get the tach from a JDM S13 cluster that has the white needles (not the amber needles). OR you could just use the JDM cluster and drive according to KMH. Extras are things like a fuel pump and some really cheap stuff that I forgot to mention.
