If I would turn the boost up to 10psi on a S13 Blacktop SR, would my ecu need retuned. Someone mentioned an octane booster, so could I just run 93 octane gas?

Only mods are FMIC, SSQV, Walbro 255.

I think you'd be fine at 10psi with stock everything

I was thinking the same thing, especially since the walbro is known to cause a rich condition... I just really don't want to blow my engine over something stupid.

Numero Uno:Walbro isn't going to cause any kind of rich condition that you'll notice.

Numero Secondo:To turn the boost up you'll need a boost controller of some sort (you probably already knew that.) 10psi will be fine with your set up, you do not need to tune or anything for just turning up the boost on your T25.

Have fun smokin fools with your new psi.

This info is all over this forum man, it shouldn't be driving you crazy. To put your nerves at rest I used to run 15 psi on my redtop w/ my stock fuel pump, injectors, and everything. I had a wideband too and my AFR was perfect at all times. forget about octane booster, i'm hoping that wasnt a serious inquiry.

10 psi is safe on a black top, as long as you replaced the walbro ( as you stated you did) then the fuel needs will be met. no problems running 10psi!

have fun

lmao.. wasn't going to buy octane booster.. I simply stated someone had mentioned it. I was just going to run 93 octane fuel instead of 91.
