whats up guys my roommate just picked up a 04 m45 and we took out the stock sub and put three 12" kicker comps in with a 2300 watt audiobahn class d monoblock amp running them. it sounds great and hits hard but its sucking up so much power it makes the transmission f*** up and jerk reall hard when the radio is up more than halfway so i was wondering if any of you guys know of a high output alternator or any suggestions i could try also did these things come with factory dvd/ navigation that we could upgrade to if so what do i need but thanks alot guys !!! ill take some pic's of it tomarrow when we put the 22" dub floaters on it

Regarding the NAV, your best and only practical bet is to just get a nice aftermarket one.

Regarding the power issues...go with a "D" (more efficient) class amp running 500 watts and just two subwoofers. You'll still have lots of bump and a transmission that works rather than spending tons on a high output alternator. Also, you might actually hear something besides bass.

I would suggest instaling a second battery dedicated to the stereo only. There's no way you're going to avoid some power draw, even with an upgraded alternater.
