Please don't hate.

If you're ever in need of parts, service, answers or yes, even a car, wouldn't it be easier if you knew someone in the biz that had something in common with you? All I'm doing is posting information. You don't have to call if you're not interested. You really don't have to respond to the boards. But I have had some people with questions. Don't get in the way of me serving them.

Other than that, have a GREAT day.

Jayson. I don't think the purpose of this forum is for you to advertise each time your dealership gets a shipment of Z's. With the possible exception of the Track model, there are now plenty of Z's around. You're not nobly sharing info, my friend, you're trying to sell cars off your lot. As a nissan salesman I'm sure you have a wealth of knowledge and insight that most of us would like you to share. But Posting your dealership's Z inventory is not sharing, it's selling.Regards.

Well, bubba, if asked a question I would share my answer but posting vehicles in stock, prices, availability....these are things that I can give without being prompted by a question. I can sell the cars to anyone who walks on the lot but probably like yourself, many of the people on this site are not in the Dallas area. If there is someone in Chatanooga, Tennessee looking for an 04 Max and there's not one available to him, don't you think it's fair to him and easier for him to look online. And if more dealerships were on these sites offering this type of information, there wouldn't be so many consumers trying desperately to find a car they want and end up buying a car they don't. Yes, I sale cars for a living, but I don't live for selling cars. If ever you need a question answered please feel free to call me.

Hi Fred. I agree with you 100%. As a multi-Nissan owner and potential Z buyer, I'd love to hear insights from a dealer rep/enthusiast like Jayson. But unsolicited postings of lower model Z arrivals to a suburban Dallas Nissan dealership complete with options, MSRP's and web address isn't insight to me, it's an ad. Insight would Jaysons thoughts as to which options are must have's or maybe impossible to get. Like no heated leather seats in the track Z which I just discovered. May I humbly suggest one large For sale section? That way dealers and individuals alike can offer up their new/used cars/parts for sale in a common place. I expect to be selling my old S-13 soon, and I'd like to find her a good home. What better place than on a Nissan For sale BB. Just a thought.

Regards.

We do have a for sale section9 2 actually:()I am currently trying to make sure, that the redesign of 240SX.org portal, wont result in a continuing split between them (to everyone's detriment)But we have a couple of self-styled activists on the 240sx side of the house (not you obvisouly) that call us nazis:rolleyes, when we want to unite the 2 Buy/Sell/Trade sections into one one place shoppping for all NICO's.

As for posting these things, it is clear that jayson wanted to post <something> and where to better start, than with what he knows. He is willing, even eager, to field all questions he can answer.

Not much but I will tell my Sales Director that you're apart of my club and we'll see if he's willing to budge. The fact is I'm trying to work on a deal where we can offer club members discounts. By the way, what part of La are your in or from? I'm from Shreveport. Born and raised.

nlzmo,

Rob Knarr, our GSM, said we can discount it about $800 off sticker for you but right now that's about it. Have you thought about leasing. I've got a really good friend with a very good leasing company. Let me know.

Nismo, I doubt you'll get much of a deal on a track model because there are so few around. But you might want to look at the touring model, which seem to be plentiful. Dealers are more likely to give you a break on cars that they have sitting in their lot. A touring model without the navigation system option, could save you that $2K. Good luck

Actually, it won't matter on the model. All five models are hot commodities for one reason or the other. The biggest difference in price comes down to the dealership. If it's a dealership that has to make their money on a car by car basis, then they won't be so willing to knock off the addons or what not. Now, if you have a dealership that deals in volume, they're more likely to come off the price simply because they know they can sell more to make up what they lost on the one car. With cars like the Z or the 04 Max...demand is too high to haggle over price. Why would I sale a car to Mr. A for $2000 under sticker when Mr. B is willing to pay sticker just to have the vehicle?

i was wondering if you were allowed to advertise your nissan z's on this forum in the manner in which you have approached it. Or that you have some special authorization to make this type of post, if so what are the conditions of that type of post and how would one attain them. Because i have acsess to nissan 350z turbo kits that produce 450hp and i was wondering if i could inform the rest of the forum about this through post. Because greddy is the only other company that is producing a turbo kit for the 350z and they aren't done with prototype until febuary. So please reply to my thread and i would greatly appreciate it.

JaysonReliford,

I don't know any car salesmen, except for the two that sold cars to me. I generally think that you're all vultures looking to screw people out of their money........ Obviously that's not true, but every car salesmen I've ever talked to made me feel that way.

I finally smartened up and started using a car broker to find cars and make deals for me. Specifically, I use H.M. Brown out of Denver. I don't quite understand where they make their money, but I do know that I never pay any fees and the brand new cars they get me cost well under sticker and just a few hundred over invoice.........

What's your opinion on that? I'll tell you right now I'm not trying to be a jerk or an @s$, I really am curious to know what a bonified car salesman has to say about the car broker trend!!

Thanks a bunch
