I am looking to purchase a 2007 Nismo 350z. Buying it used with 8000mi on it. I am trading in my 03 Evo for it.The Evo was modified and built to what I could afford to run in SCCA Solo SM Class. The car was fast and fun, but now its time for something new.I will be running the car in BS, so I can hardly modify it. The biggest thing I need to know is what size tires I can run.On the stock 18x9 front and 19x10 rear, I am thinking I can run 275/35 fronts and 295/30 rears, (Hoosier A6). I THINK the tires will fit on the wheels, but my main question is, will I rub the fenders or any of the suspension components? Also, should I look for anything in particular that might be wrong with an 07 Nismo edition? Thanks in advanceLiam

Fronts should be fine you may need to roll the rear fenders. There is a guy in here (JETPILOT) who runs some 295's in the rear.

Hey Liam. Welcome to NICO. If the Z guys are anything like the G guys, you should get all the answers you need.

If not jump over to the G35/37 forum and we will do what we can to help.

BTW. Glad to see you moving up fom the EVO. You won't regret the platform change.

duh?

Welcome to Nico and soon to be a Z owner!

my advice when looking for a Nismo is:1. don't pay sticker-you probly knew that.2. looks for scratches on the wheels and the front lip. I have seen a brand new Nismo in the dealership showroom with curb rash.

Richie if you had bought a Festiva you would have had enough to TT it. I think they make Festiva key chains too.

Thats what I'm afraid of, you cant' roll fenders in stock classes.I'll have to check it out

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll definetly check the front lip for curb rub.

Jerry I'll pop into the G forums and see you there, thanks
