greetings everyone.
Just acquired my forst Z after waiting too long to buy one. My buddy had this car essentially stored for 2 years - 1994 slicktop 103k, and beautiful. So well taken care of its still amazes me. i plan on keeping this car a looonnngggg time and want to take care fo her and give her the love she deserves. i have a couple questions id like to throw out there that might get me used to navigating the site for help. the previous owner used yalls advice regularly and included the link to this forum with the download link for my manual.

Prob 1 = idle floats. from 1k to 2.1k. Seems to calm down after its driven for awhile.

Prob 2 = Airbag light occasionally blinks in a fast, continuous manner, then slows to several blinks and a long blink, then goes away. Doesnt do it on every start. Maybe one of 5 starts.

-Pulled codes and ntohing that I know of.

Anyway, glad to say hello.

Welcome to Zs, Nico, and to being a fellow slicky owner! PICS! Not sure about your problems though. I'm curious to know what you paid for this good condition '94 slicky. If it's personal, that's okay of course.

ah man, not at all. i dont mind at all. $3500.00. I still havent taken my own pics but i stare at it all evening. hahaha....ill get some up on here. It is almost all stock. Black on black on black. Blacked windows, not a lick of chrome anywahere, factory carpet and seats. Not one scratch on the roof liner, visers, or seats. Never been smoked in. It does have an aftermarket twin dual exhaust, but thats all I can tell. Even rocking the factory rims with the red z. Its just a beast. So tight in the chasis and steering. No ground effects, or side moldings of any sort.

NICE deal, and welcome!
The idle circuit may have some issues from sitting, the IACV would be where I'd start looking as it may need cleaning/adjustment/replacement. Also the coolant temp sensor can affect idle, check the connector and unit and also any and all other connectors you can see...they often have corrosion issues.
Also, lately I have an idle issue where my tuner says to check/clean my MAF, so maybe that would be a good place for you to check if #1 and #2 ideas don't help...Good Luck!
