Just drove this 1999 q45t all the way from Miami, FL, what a smooth ride!! I got it for $4995 with 96600 on the clock. everyone please comment especially Y33ers. Skibane!! I need the name of a good, decent, and honest bodyshop and upholstery shop on the southside, that works on these cars... the interior has some wear, and the bumpers are dinged and bruised. Had the mechanicals checked out... and passed easy. hope to hold on to it for a while...

Congrats on the new ride, it's a beaut. I picked up my 10th anniversary edition as a 3 yr lease return with 35k miles... now at 140K and happy as ever. I don't hesitate to jump in and drive from Dallas to Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. I've ran Mobile 1 and Matic-D since I got it with very good results... Though after reading about transmission issues I'm hoping mine holds together another 5 years, kids in college....

Good luck in San Antone, drivers all over 410 freak me out with how little they pay attention.

That would be an FGY33. Y33 Glorias and Cedrics not sold in the US.

Enjoy.

Nice ride. My 97' is just about at that mileage. Sorry Sibane hasn't touched this thread for you. That car will last you a long time, you should check to see if they did the spark plugs, those are the 100k but for a car that old it needs to be done soon. Also fluids fluids fluids, I would flush the transmission, power steering, brakes and rear end immediately and use at least Mobile 1 and at best RedLine or Amsoil. That is the #1 thing to do before you fix dings and dents or interior.

How is the suspension on that, has it been replaced yet? If not it will be due. I did my 97 and while it isn't easy to get parts you can upgrade it if you want to...I lowered my by 2" and upgraded shocks/struts to higher performance ones.

Aw, sweet!

And for $5K?!!!! You pretty much stole it!

I can't recommend anyone local for either upholstery or body work, simply because I haven't had anyone do that kind of job - but I'll ask a couple of buddies who are also car nuts if they use someone they really like.

I'm gonna be watching for you!
