Hi I'm Patrick I have a 1991 Hardbody I found that only has 50k miles on it and is in very good shape beside some front end damage. I'm intending on replacing the front bumper/grill and passenger fender due to the damage and was also hoping on playing with it some in the future. It has the 2.4 in it and I'm not too sure what all can be done with that engine if anything much. I have been looking for a bodykit to put on it but cant seem to find anything, if anybody knows where I could find a nice kit that would be great. I was also told that the bucket seats from a third gen f-body are a pretty easy swap, cause I'd like to get rid of the bench. If anybody has any suggestions or ideas I would love to hear them.

If you are looking for a body kit your best sourse is MiniTruckin' magazine. They have advertisers that cater to the D21 (Hardbody) trucks. As far as engine stuff goes.....There is quite a bit of stuff out there.

Cold Air intakes, larger diameter exhaust systems, headers, cams.

For the engine stuff you can chat with your local Nissan Dealer about NISSAN Motorsports (NISMO) or you can check out Stillen, Automotive Customizers, AND you can poke around the 240 forum and see what those fellas are doing with their 2.4's Some of those 240's engine parts are interchangable.

Use NICO's Search Engine it can deliver several items for your research.

Well, thank you for the help. I have done some more research which has brought even more questions up. First I have to replace the bumper anyways and have found some nice toyota conversions which look like they would be worth putting on.I am also gonna static drop the truck, I think about 3 inches. I would love to bag it but that is out of the budget and I dont think I have the know how to attempt to do it myself. I have seen on a couple websites they sell a leaf kit that lowers it 3 inches, would that be pretty much the same as just pulling out the middle leaf?I am hoping to keep the truck riding at a decent comfort level and was told that putting the drop spindles in the front would make the ride far better than adjusting the torsion bars. Is that true? Now I also need to replace one of the fenders due to the damage, and was wondering if I need replace both with the 4x4 fenders or will the 2x4 fenders work with a 2 1/2-3" drop and riding on like 17-18"?Well I have far more questions but I'm gonna continue researching and see what I can come up with before I do more asking.

EXCELLENT LINKS JL...I permit links depending on the circumstances but don't do this in the cars forum. Those mods have their own sponsors and do frown on that.

Ok, so I am thinking that I am going to go ahead and put to 4x4 fenders in the front and I really like the new 07 18" eskies. Does anyone know if I will have any problems in the back I really dont want to have to flare the bed at all? I'm pretty sure the wheels are 18x8 with like a 31 offset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get your wheels from a reputable dealer they should be able to tell what offset you need and where the limits are for how far in and how far out the wheel can be in relation to the body.

Do you have a source for the wheels in question? What do they look like? Need a link dude!!
