Okay,

I guess most of you know bout my moms medical problems & my tight budget w/ helping them out. There have been some really cool people lately that have helped me out a lot and it's so cool the generosity of people, ya know....

Anyways, I sold my huge aluminum wing to a bosnian guy to put on his eclipse for $50. My friend owns a body shop here in town, and had a CustomFX fiberglass wing for an 01 Celica GT that was worth over $200 w/ the prep work and paint and all. Well, he mocked it up Saturday, and did a decent amount of work to get it to fit my hatch (about $100-150 he said - 5 hours work) - cutting, sanding, molding (he reinforced it w/ a decent amount of Kevlar). He even painted it to match my car.

He charged me $50 for everything, so I came out even after selling my other wing. Ya know, I'm lucky to know some of the coolest people that help ya out when they can, and I'm so freakin' greatful for that!

I think it looks pretty nice and flows well with the body lines of the car (and it's not huge) and tasteful. I'll put pics up tonight when I get home from the gym.

a celica wing eh? thats ok,whats really far out, was a guy(blu808) on zilvia put his lan evo wing on his s14, now that was something. i could prob find a pic if you want.

i can not bring my self to put other car manufacturer's parts on my nissan. some people put ford stuff on their nissans...i just can not do it.

I'm not trying to make some frankenforty hybrid thins, just took what was offered to me and am glad I did. I try to stick to nissan parts on my nissan, no cavalier hubcaps or anything...

But i have got a lot of compliemtns on the spoiler so far. The best one was a guy said, it looks stock, but not.

I loved that!!! It's exactly what i wanted, different, but not ricey, ya know?

i agree stock spoilerless s13 looks way harder and it costs 0 well maybe a couple bucks to sand it down and fill up the holes.

I got it free in a trade for my roof scoop off my saturn. And sold it for $50.

Sorry but if you got a wing like that aluminum, you atleast need the spinner hubcaps to back it up..

no... roof scoop on saturn, had it molded in (had to break the mold to get it off) it was a show car.

I have 5 tattoos, my friend drives a turbo civic (i hate hondas, but its actually nice) and he got a huge Honda emblem in flames on his shoulder - that was sooooo "RICER"!!!

I told him i would laugh at him when he's 35 driving his kids around in a minivan, he said, "thats aiight, i'll be drivin a honda odyssey (sp?)"

In regards to putting OEM stuff from other companies on a Nissan:

The only case where I can really see myself doing this is with rims. I'd say wings too, but I'm generally a wingless kind of guy, so it just doesn't apply.

Lincoln Town Cars and Crown Vics came stock with some relatively spiffy looking mesh wheels at various points, and insomuch as I know they fit right on 240s. Anyone have them mounted?
