ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!? my brother just got home from working at the suzuki dealership and he checked the list price on a new windsheild for a 93 coupe with HUD... $3000 list price. IS THIS A JOKE? without the HUD its 275 and the best deal he could give me is 750 for the HUD windsheild... is it really that much for a little reflective sticker? who has dealt with this and where can i get a deal?

kaidosports has HUDs that fixes *most problems* for about $200, i might eventually order one from them. i have analog gauges right now. havent heard anyone bought one them before though. but i emailed them about the HUD and they responded saying that most of the customers are satisfied with the HUD

and i have a BIG crack, abought halfway through the whole windshield. thought about replacing it with a regular windshield, without the reflective piece. ive read that some hatches put in HUD in without the reflective windshield and it works fine. or they use some sort of 3M film to stick on their windshield. either way, some hatches run HUD without the reflective piece

Just use a piece of tint. Cheap, but effective.

They're expensive as hell because the reflective piece is embedded in the windshield.
