I am going to get new wheels- what do you guys think?5zigen FN01R-CHyper Black17x7 +35

Also, will these tires fit ok?Falken Fk452225/45R17

I know my speedo will be a little bit under, but I won't have issues with wheelwell clearance or fitting the tire on the wheel will I? My local shop told me the tire would fit on that wheel. Also, I don't have any suspension mods.

That adds fifty bucks a wheel if I get silver, 60 for HB... Will 225s not fit on a seven inch wheel?

Where you getting these wheels from, and how much is each wheel to begin with? The tire will fit, it will just look kinda chunky.

http://www.edgeracing.comSaw it in my Sport Compact Car.The 5zigen fno1rc 17x7 HB is on sale for 139 a piece. The others are around 200 a piece.Unattractive chunky or just big? hehe. In the "post your wheel setup" thread, there are some 245s on 17x8 fno1rc's. Do you call that chunky?

i would only run that tire on that width with a track tire, no street tires, the sidewalls will feel way too soft

I have 17x8 wheels all the way around, and they look weak. Front is okay, but I wish I had 17x9s in the back. Don't ever get 17x7s.

don't let people tell you what size wheel you should get. get a size that will be good for the kind of driving you will be using them for and for the look that YOU want to go for.i know that everyone is trying to help by telling you their experiences with wider wheels but the only way for you to really see if you'll like them is to find out for yourself. see if you can take a ride in a couple 240's with different wheel/tire sizes. and if you can, maybe you could try out a couple of your friends wheels to see how they feel. if i can say one thing though its that i think a 225 is def too wide for a 7" wheel. try a 205, maybe a 195; these sizes will make the sidewalls feel a good bit stiffer than if you went with a wider tire and will feel more responsive. and also do your research man. it helps a lot, trust me.hope this helped a little more than "get a 17x XX", you'll be happy with that!"

Here this might help.

1st pic- 17x7 +38 offset 215/40/172nd pic 17x9 +20 offset 225/45/17

you don't want to run to high of an offset, as you can see it looks like ****. plus you want a nice width to you rims
