I invested in my first mutual fund the other day and felt that I deserved a reward, so I finally got the wheels that I've been eyeing for a while. Let me know your opinion!

It's a two pieced wheel with the front at 18x9 & the rear is 18x9.5

That is awesome, I've been eyeing them myself, Glad to see they look so good on a Z32, now I just gotta convince TSW to make them in a 12" width.

I sure hope I can persuade them, if not then I think Ill be designing and machining my own wheels cause I've been searching for a loooong time and the Mirabeau is the only one I really like.

Congrats on that! Start young, keep putting money in religiously, and it can grow to a nice chunk when your ready to retire. Not to get too far off topic, but while mutual funds are nice, if I had it to do all over again, I'd set myself up with a self directed IRA and just invest in a S&P index fund like SPY (link). A lot of mutual funds have high expense ratios (basically the cost of managing the fund) and it makes it hard for them to do well against the market long term. Index funds have extremely low expense ratios and as a result follow the market pretty closely. You'll never beat the market, but you'll beat 90% of mutual funds.

Very nice!

How is the wrap holding up? Any areas trying to "release"?

Thanks a lot! And yeah I know i've been told by my father and my boss how huge it is for me to open this & how must stay committed to investing into this on at least a monthly bases or Every paycheck. I'm only 20 so a lot of this completely new to me but I figure as well as I can invest in the money then I cant go wrong lol. And yeah a IRA is what I'm looking into next for the next 4-5 thousand that I can spare to invest. & start funding that on the side aswell.
SPY does have some good rates, I'm using Vanguard and their rates look pretty similar. Thanks for the link, I might need to keep my eye on SPDR for the future.

As far as the wrap, 90% of it is holding up a lot better than I expected. But i guess that's the benefit of priming the whole thing ! lol But i had a few minor spots; like my door handles, the door handle is very tight against the door when I open the handle so it peels up the vinyl a little but I replaced the driver side and just need to change the passenger side now. But the great thing about it is that I can just peel it off and re apply a new piece within' a hour. :gapteeth:

Yeah before I got these I was in a desperate search for corvette (I believe the C6's). Couldn't find a thing close until I ran into these & if I weren't going with these it was 100% sure MB battles. But my shop wasn't affiliated with the company so I didn't want to get them for regular retail price even though there fairly cheap. But i'm sure they'll be able to do is especially since its a 2 piece wheel

Investing early in life is one of the best decisions you could make. I started 401K when I was 21, I'm 27 now and can already see the benefits. Keep on it man and most importantly (unlike with women) Don't pull out.

Not to thread jack, but if they do not do 12" wide wheels, I have a guy down here in Denver that might be able to custom build what you are looking for. Does a fantastic job, some amazing work. Let me know and I can get you the information.

I appreciate it man, does your guy widen wheels or does he actually CNC from raw material?

Raw material, he is extremely picky on how the wheel is designed. Lets put it this way, he hated the design of the Stillen GTV, just because of the geometry of the way the rim sits with the center pioint. He is all about doing it right and safety. Im sure he can widen a wheel if its a two piece design, like stated before. He can be rough to talk to sometimes, he likes straight to the point kind of thing, but that guy completely surprised me what he can do. He does do shipping, and is fairly priced.

Sweet, I'll check it out, yeah I don't want welded barrels and don't want to deal with anyone that would haphazardly do that.

I just bought a black 90 300zx 2+0....I have been debating on TSW Mirabeau wheels (25lbs front/26lbs rear *from TSW rep) or the Enkei NT03+M SBC wheels (20lbs front/21lbs rear) Both will be 18" and 18x9.5" front and 18x10.5" rear. Dont think the 5lbs extra on each wheel will make that much of a difference since Im dropping a 6.0L built LS motor in it....will be over 500+WHP when done.

I found a couple of pics with some 300zx with SBC NT03+Ms but this the ONLY pic of a 300zx with Mirabeau wheels...and they are black...I want the silver ones with the Chrome lip (pictured above)

Did you have any fitment issues? Those are some pretty high offsets. Did you need spacers?

You need negative camber in the back....one bump and tire is damaging your fender...it wont clear the fender when you hit a dip or bump
Rolled. And pulled many many fenders
Btw still do

^ absolutely agree, the multi-link on these cars doesn't accentuate camber when the suspension is loaded so you have to make sure you aren't running the tread face directly into the fender, otherwise, CRUNCH
