New wheels?

I dug these out of some of my old racecar stuff and cleaned them up. I need to order centercaps yet but I wanted to know what others thought about them.

These are 16x7 3 piece panasports. I was thinking about taking the centers down and having them powdercoated silver but I kinda like the gold.

Looks pretty nice, but maybe a yellower, deeper gold if you decide to powdercoat. Gold and black = hawt.

imo, the gold/polished combo is hotness on a black car. my next set of wheels will have a gold center and polished lip.

you "found" that lip? HAHA! there are a lot of people out there that would almost kill for it.

Well kina found it. I bought it in like 98 ro pull a mold and make a carbon splitter (never finished) so it was up in the rafters for that long.

I think I am gonna stay with the gold and just have them refinished this fall.

those look nice, im really getting into verts, i miss the summer cruising i used to do in my miata. if i get a vert im getting a black one too, so nice.

hey toptech by the way i dont know about you but do they run your class at the runoffs? im watching them on speed right now...

I was there. In the Nissan tent for 2 weeks. Watch the T2 race and you will see a red 350z that I built 2years ago. I was there as the crew chief on that car. We did OK but the trans had issues not getting into 4th gear. I had a bunch of other stuff there in one way or another also.

oh cool, when i said you wouldnt be there i meant i didnt know if you had your s14 there, but yah they only had gt5 and gt2 on this morning, ill definately watch for your car in t2.

I tried the same thing with my Rewinds (from my AE86) but the offset was so off that it turned out looking mexi. Yours looks better.
