Well, I think my first "mod" on the 240 is going to have to be wheels . . . the 89-90 "teardrop" wheels aren't bad by any means, but my particular ones are in pretty poor shape (very pitted). I'm looking for recommendations as to what to do, and what to get . . .

The cheapest option would be to find another set of the teardrops in good shape, but that seems to be a hard thing to find anymore.

My other options? I want to stay with either a 15" or 16" rim (preferably 15" because of the tires I currently have, and on my car and with my budget, anything greater than 16" is just excess), and I hardly want anything flashy. I think I like the 180SX Type X wheels (same as the newer G20 wheels, IIRC), and they're also pretty cheap. I *really* like the older mesh-style wheels, but they seem to be *really* hard to find too. :-( If anyone can make any recommendations with those constriants in mind, I'd appreciate it . . . pics would be great too. :-)

go mesh, youll be mad at yourself in the future if you dont. i love my wheels, theyre Enkei 92's. 16x7 +0 offset.

spend some money now, if you dont youll be spending a little now, then a little on the next wheels and then decent money on there wheels you really want, save up and do it right the first time.

I am about to cry, those are the most beautiful wheels I have ever seen, and they look absolutely great on the car, the pignose and the mesh just go so well together. :-) Where the hell can you find wheels like that? All I've ever seen them on is eBay . . . please tell me they aren't that expensive.

P.S: C'ville? Do you happen to be a UVa student?

like they said, theyre just Enkies, i got them online, from a guy in cali. I paid $600 for the wheels and tires, and way too much for shipping.

i do live in charlottesville, ive lived here since i was 2, not a student, i just graduated highschool this year.
