thinking of buying some 17x7 raze r51 hyperblack inch wheelsfor my cube can i put 215 45 17 tires or will they rub !!!!!

Depends on width and offset.

I ran 225/45/17 on mine, no problems.

17" wheels with 45" series thats good the cube must feel really comfy, unlike mine 18" wheels with 35" series tires i get so tired of the ride i dont think i have drove the cube like in 2 months now lol!!

Ok the wheel offset is 40 17x7

Yep. Those are fine.

215/45 or 225/45 will be a nice fit.

How did your setup work out? can please post pictures or let me know if tire/wheel is flush with body, did you need spacers, what size and offset are and the tire numbers? thx bud

yeah, it's a shot in the dark, i noticed most of the posts are old, but why would you all not have your cubes? was it just
a fad that's come and gone, I love the lowered, wide looking cubes on these forums, and I want to be the lone wolf in
Maricopa, AZ. and surrounding areas....thx for the reply, but I'm still gonna try....I'm going for the ATI Mobile U Cube look,
they built a few years back.

AZhitman, since I got your attention, will a +40 make the tire/wheel setup flush with the body, front and rear?

There's a lot more that goes into fitment than the offset. Even if you were "flush," you've got to figure out alignment issues, as well as where those tires are going under full compression when turning.

FWIW, I think mine were +15, and required quite a bit of massaging.
