New wheels must be in the in thing for spring. Well I’m joining the fray…
Picked up some forged rims to replace the Konigs you see in my sig. I considered G35 rim and other OEMs but prefer wheels with a lip and don’t mind stepping outside the OEM realm. I’ve been holding out for quite a while until I could find a wheel that met all my requirements. They had to be strong, forged, have a lip, light, easy to clean, and look great on the Q. These did that and then some. These are Motoforge racing rims and I’m pretty impressed with them so far. When I got em from the UPS guy, he was surprised to hear that there were wheels in the two huge boxes he was delivering since they were so light. Anyway, enuf with the intro…time to whore out the pics.
Didn’t realize “titanium silver” would be so gray… I was expecting a brighter silver finish but the look grew on me fast. Saw some much darker grey rims on pdqwrx’s burgundy Q and they looked real nice to me.
zerothread?id=162854 I still have the CC springs to install. On my next tire change I’m planning to move up to a 45 series to soften the ride. I’m currently running 245/40 18 Sumitomo HTR+. It’s pretty decent now but with the springs I sure it will be harder. Hopefully there won’t be any rubbing.

The specs…
Light enough to do this!
Here she is…
I’m missing a chrome strip on the passenger side. … It allows me to see how the wheels look without it. I know many don’t like the chrome, but I think it looks good on a burgundy Q.
I was bopping around in my cousin’s Integra while my wheels were being mounted. Managed to lock the keys in it and ended up having to wait hours for AAA. We had tried slim jims etc but no luck. Check out the tools the AAA guy used. The black thing is called an air wedge… used to pry the door open enough to slide a wire and flip the lock.

My ticket repellant. I keep a card in my wallet too. These things work!
