I am getting sick of having to pay $100 twice a year to have my winter/summer tires switched out. I am looking at some new rims. I have see some really cheap ones on ebay for $200 are these legit? Are there specs I need to look for or will any 19 inch wheel work?

I am a newbie to wheels thanks!

if you're gonna buy rims then save up your money... 200$ isnt gonna cut it... also, as far as specs go, there's the width of the wheel and the offset that you have to worry about. and with new wheels comes new/different tire sizes. width of the tire and size of the sidewall etc. and what would clear your wheel well without rubbing. i would definately do more research before you go buying 200$ no name wheels off egay.... try websites like http://www.rimtuck.com

Ebay does have good stuff but you have to know what you're buying... Definitely not the $200 stuff!! Many stores advertise on Ebay now so as to keep overhead costs low...

And yes offset and width will play a factor in your choice of wheels not just diameter... You could end up buying a 19" wheel made for a wide body 370zx or G37 and won't fit your car... :gotme
Try the search function on the top right of the page and it should pull up plenty of past threads on this topic...

Good luck :bigthumb:
