hey im getting some new wheels soon and i need to decide what i want. right now my 91 240 has a 20mm wide body(front and rear) and stock suspension and brakes. i plan on buyin used coilovers when i find a pair. im thinking some rota p45r's 18 by 9.5 with a +12 offset and then spacers according to what i need. im looking to spend no more than $900 on the rims and i want them to be bronze. Any suggestions? also how do you think the p45r size would fit? thanks

they would fit good , quite well actually...under stock fenders....with 20mm overfenders, go for like a 10mm spacer for flush and like a 235/35-40/18 tire

check JLB motorsports

http://www.jlbmotorsports.com

there actually $899 shipped so there you go

this won't work. I'm getting p45rs in a few weeks so we can't have 2 s chasis in town rolling on them haha. I would really suggest getting better fitting wheels tho. As I work at discount tire they won't allow us to touch a car with any spacers. so if you do get them, install the rims your self. I may be able to install and balance your rims for free to so talk to me when you get them

I was too lazy to swap on my alternate set of wheels, so I took them to Discount Tire to let them do it. I had 30mm spacers on in the back and the did it for free anyways... lol

P45R's sure are sexy. But I don't get why ppl always go for the Royal Sport Bronze. I'm not a fan of that color. But for size, I'd suggest 17x9.5+12 for the front and 17x9.5+30 in back IMO. The +30's are still very concave AND will let you run 255 series tires w/o spacers in back. You might be able to stick a 245/35 up front depending on how low you plan to be...

Honestly, Rota really needs to release a p45r in 17x9.5+20 in 4 lug. That would be perect.

Why would you want a higher offset in the rear than the front? Typo?

9.5+30's won't clear coilovers in the front but supposedly will in the back and will allow a wider tire size. FYI, Broadfield runs 18x10.5+40 on the back of his coupe with stock fenders and 275 series tires. Guys that like it reversed or with offsets lower than +20 are the guys who like stretching tires usually. I'm not one of those guys.

They have a 17x9.5 +12 and 18x9 and 9.5 in +12 for 4 lug

Yes, I'm well aware of that. You will be stretching your tires if you go with those sizes. Enjoy!

What would be a recommend tire size for the 18x9.5 +12? Front and Back? And would they fit on an s13?

I'm assuming you're on coils... Gonna need a stretch for a wheel that tall with such a low offset. 225/40/18 maybe. 245/40/18 would probably rub. And moderate fender pulling. Probably some neg camber, too.

I think im just gonna run the 17s. Will I have to worry about the wires running in the fenders??

And should I run the 225s front and 245 or 235 rear?

Does anyone know if P45R's in 18x9.5 with +30 all around will fit on a S14 with coilovers and z32 brakes?
