I've been thinking of getting these for the G. What are you thoughts? All input (good and bad) is greeted openly. Thanks

Very nice but pricey.....try the ASA's, very similar, but cheaper and are somehow a part of BBS. I am getting the ASA AR1's chrome for my Q....18x8 & 18x9 (front/rear)

Keep the opinions coming people. Which do you like better, the BBS or the SSR. If you have other suggestions post em up. I need info here.

BBS....pure sex with one womanSSR....pure sex with many woman

I always respect the size of the lip in the rear of a car and all cars have it today...the G35 is very well suited for a staggered look with a very nice lip. Besides with a nice 2" chrome lip you can see yourself

Where did you find ASA AR1's in 18's? Tire Rack has them in 17's, but not any larger at least for the G in the 5-114 bolt pattern. I also really like the bright satin finish that both SSR GT3 and the BBS RGR have. I couldn't find that ASA had that finish.

They list them for the Q45 ...1995, but I have no idea why they don't list 18's for the G35. Maybe there is some weird fitment issue?? I don't know. Cost for 18" are about $334 each.

Thanks for the info. It must be a lug configuration difference.

call them...they might have made a mistake. My Q has the 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

Have you seen the BBS LM in the flesh? It'll knock your socks off!

The multi-piece wheel is configured so the wheel disc(mesh part) is bolted to the barrel. This flat bolt surface adds even more effect to the appearance of the fat lip look, especially on a wide rear wheel. If you're gonna drop BBS dollars, might as well swing for the fence!

I'll have to check them out.

EDIT: Ok, I checked them out and remember them now from their $830 price. A bit out of my range. Very nice, but way too expensive for me.

I am actually leaning toward the SSR GT3, but I just heard that the new 05 6mt G35 sport coupe will have 19" wheels, redesigned interior and be pumping out 295hp. I may have to upgrade the car instead of the wheels now. I'll probably just get the wheels, but I am going to have to take a hard look at the new 6mt coupe.

There is a set on Ebay right now !!! I know that there is much caution to be had on Ebay wheels but the price was really good. Something like $900 for the entire set of 18x8.5...might be worth checking out.

Here are the wheels I was talking about...very good deal if this is legit.

Corey....sorry you got the flu...that sucks and I have not had the flu in years. Still not 100% yet.

MiniMan, that is a heck of a deal. $2299. The auction ends in 21 minutes and there is no way I could bid on that short of notice. Plus the bolt pattern is different than what I need. Thanks for the link though.

Thanks Rob... I haven't had the flu in years either, just came about 4-5 days ago.

I'm almost certain those wheels are knockoffs as the auction says "BBS LM Style". That would be killer if they were real though :) .

Ryan,

Do you have the 5-spoke G35 wheels on your coupe right now? If so, I'd be more than willing to take them off your hands if you get new wheels.

Nick :)

Sorry Nick and Wes. They are going to be used for winter wheels. I will need something to get me around in the snow. The 18 inch with sport tires, just won't work for the snow.
